Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, storing your preferences and generally improving your experience of a website.

The EU Directive 2009/136/EC states that we can store cookies on your machine if they are essential to the operation of this site, but that for all others we need your permission to do so.

Essential cookies: these are cookies that are either:

  • used solely to carry out or facilitate the transmission of communications over a network; or
  • strictly necessary to provide an online service (e.g. our website or a service on our website) which you have requested.

Non-essential cookies: these are any cookies that do not fall within the definition of essential cookies, such as cookies used to analyze user behavior on a website (‘analytical’ cookies) or cookies used to display advertisements (‘advertising’ cookies).

Types of cookies

Some of the cookies are essential for the website.

Our website may also use some non-essential cookies. We do not do this to track individual users or to identify them, but to gain useful knowledge about how the sites are used so that we can keep improving them for our users. Without the knowledge we gain from the systems that use these cookies we would not be able to provide the services that we do.

Our web servers may passively collect data through the use of cookies and other means on your computer and Internet connection, such as the IP address of your computer and/or Internet service provider, the date and time you access the website, the Internet address of website from which you link to our website, the computer technology you are using and your movements and preferences on our website. We may also use such cookies to collect information in connection with future visits to the website (such as to remember username and password), to recognize you as a previous visitor, and to track your activity on the website.

This information is not used to personally identify you but helps us to understand how visitors are interacting with our website. These statistics contain no personal information and are only used by our technical support staff and marketing teams for purposes of website administration. We reserve the right to use other technologies such as Internet tags, web beacons, and navigational data collection tools. We may combine data gathered through cookies and other tracking technologies with personal information, although when we do, we treat all such data as personal information for purposes of this Privacy Policy.

The use of Google Web Fonts is in our legitimate interest in a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR). You are therefore asked for your consent to Facebook pixels. You will find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
